Raaz brings more than 15 years of political and governmental experience to DIA. Her background lends strong experience in public policy and outreach at the municipal and federal level. Prior to her work at DIA, she served as Policy Director to Denver City Councilwoman Deborah Ortega. Her work there gave her her unique insight to the procedures and processes of Council and municipal government.

Raaz served as a strategist for many elected officials and issue campaigns throughout the county, including that of Congressman Ed Perlmutter as well as the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Raaz holds a B.S. in Political Science and Environmental Studies from the University of Utah, and a J.D. from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah.
