Adriana Lopez is manager of intranet communications at Denver Public Schools. With 10 years of strategic communications experience in the private and public sectors, Adriana’s professional roles have focused on social media management, brand development, event execution, photography, internal communications, and community outreach. Adriana earned her master’s degree in International and Intercultural Communication from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver. Prior to graduate school, Adriana received her bachelor’s degree in journalism and technical communication from Colorado State University. A fourth generation Coloradan and native of Denver, Adriana is passionate about educating the public around important issues to inspire social change. As a Fellow of the Latino Leadership Institute at the University of Denver, Adriana is committed to equity in education and advocating for all Denver families and students.
