Alexis Menocal Harrigan is the Manager of City Affairs for Denver Public Schools where she serves as the face of DPS for the City of Denver including City Council. In her role she manages highly-sensitive and highly-visible projects that require partnership and alignment between multiple organizations and stakeholders. Alexis’ career in public service includes; Constituent Advocate for U.S. Senator Michael Bennet, Executive Director of Intercambio Denver, Denver City Council Aide, and Volunteer Coordinator for the Colorado “I Have a Dream” Foundation. Alexis was the Vice-Chair of the Colorado Latino Forum and co-chair of the Denver Latino Commission. She is a Daniels Fund Scholarship recipient and a first generation college graduate. Alexis enjoys spending time with her “four boys” who take the forms of husband, toddler, and two dogs.
