The Curriculum

The Institute offers a rigorous nine-month certificate program that incorporates 98 hours of course sessions focused on personal and professional development, board service, corporate finance, economics, non-profit management, and public policy. The initial session is an outdoor Challenge Course that offers Fellows an inspiring opportunity for personal and professional growth while enhancing group interaction.

Course sessions, which are taught with a deep understanding of Latino culture and history, are led by sector and industry leaders from the University of Denver, the State of Colorado, and across the country. LLI Fellows complete multiple personal assessments that relate to communication style, ethics, approach to problems, and value to team environments. Fellows apply their learning through the creation of professional and professional development plans and completion of Social Impact projects that provide a public good to the Latino community.
