Adriana Lopez

Adriana Lopez is senior manager of digital communications at Denver Public Schools. With more than 10 years of strategic communications experience in the private and public sectors, Adriana’s professional roles have focused on web and social media management, brand development, marketing, event execution, photography, internal communications, and community outreach. Adriana earned her master’s degree in International and Intercultural Communication from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver. Prior to graduate school, Adriana received her bachelor’s degree in journalism and technical communication, and a certificate in women’s studies, from Colorado State University. A fourth generation Coloradan and native of Denver, Adriana is passionate about educating the public around important issues to inspire social change. She is a member of the United Nations Denver board and a Denver Kids Inc. mentor. At DPS, Adriana is committed to equity in education and advocating for all Denver families and students.
