Antonio Parés

Antonio Parés is a Partner with the Donnell-Kay Foundation. In this role he is focused on cultivating an education ecosystem that provides all Coloradans with responsive and meaningful learning experiences. Prior to Donnell-Kay, he served as the Education Policy Director for the City and County of Denver, consulted with multiple national nonprofits focused on educational equity, worked on political campaigns in both Texas and Colorado, and supported school turnaround efforts in Denver. Antonio got his start as a social studies teacher in south Texas with Teach For America.

Antonio serves as the Board President and Chair for both Inside the Orchestra and HadaNõu Collective. In 2016 he was appointed by Governor John Hickenlooper to serve on the Colorado Charter School Institute Board. Antonio is a proud third generation alumnus of the University of Colorado Boulder. He lives in Denver with his better half, Emily Parés.
