Cristóbal (Chris) Garcia

Cristóbal (Chris) Garcia currently acts as the Community Engagement Specialist at the City of Greeley where he is responsible for expanding engagement through external communications, volunteer outreach and management, and collaboration with residents, business partners and friends of the City.

Garcia has degrees from the University of Northern Colorado and Colorado State University, and completed the executive leadership program through the Latino Leadership Institute at the University of Denver. He also values community engagement and volunteer service as part of creating change and empowering others. In his spare time, Garcia volunteers on several boards and committees, including:
• Board Member, 13’ers Young Professionals Board – The Nature Conservancy – Colorado
• Board of Directors – The Success Foundation Serving Greeley-Evans Schools
• Co-Founder – LATINX Professional Network (Sponsor: City of Greeley, Office of Economic Dev.)
