Gil Guethlein

Gillespie “Gil” specializes in negotiating complex business transactions involving US onshore oil and gas properties. She is a District Landman at Bayswater, where she performs full-cycle land management responsibilities as part of a multidisciplinary team driving value creation for institutional investors. Gil has previous experience managing DJ Basin Land Business Development at Anadarko and working the Fayetteville, Haynesville, and Marcellus shale plays at BP America. A Landman by profession, she is a lawyer by training with licenses to practice in Texas and Colorado. Gil sits on the Boards of The Bridge Project and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Denver, she is the current Director of the Denver Association of Petroleum Landmen, and she serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children in the dependency and neglect system.
