Iliana Gallegos

Iliana is the Revenue Assessment Officer and Medical Utilization Review Coordinator for the Division. Iliana is known for her unique insight and expertise of Colorado labor laws and the Medicare Secondary Payor Act, which involves workers’ compensation and personal injury liability cases. She previously served as staff attorney, Vice-President of Operations, settlement consultant, and Director of Mandatory Insurer Reporting in the private sector. In the community, Iliana has volunteered extensively for the Alpha Phi chapter at the University of Northern Colorado since 2011, serving as Chapter Advisor. She also actively participates as a mentor for Si Se Puede, a mentorship program designed to help under-resourced students interested in pursuing a career in law. Iliana is originally from Austin, Texas and resides in Commerce City with her husband, Freddy.
