Martha Bahamon

With over 20 years of experience in successful major gift and capital campaign fundraising, Martha is known for her ability to connect donors to their passion via a practical and donor-centered approach. She is guided by the belief in making the world a better place by discovering where opportunities lie and closing leadership gifts that catapult organizations to new heights. Prior to joining the University of Denver, Martha served as Vice President for Development for the Hispanic Federation where she was instrumental in securing the organization’s first $1M gift from a national private foundation. Martha launched her fundraising career at the United Way of Essex and West Hudson in Newark, New Jersey, and then went on to lead fundraising efforts for the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and the School of Biomedical Health Sciences at Rutgers University.
