Matthew Salazar

Matthew is the Electronic Banking Product Manager for Canvas Credit Union. Responsible for the implementation, enhancement and support of the credit union’s online and mobile banking products, services, and delivery channels. In 2017, Matthew helped lead efforts in a successful digital banking conversion for PSCU. Gaining over 10 years of experience in management and leadership as a Branch Manager at his previous employer of 14 years, Chase Bank. Matthew also served in the United States Marine Corps for six years fulfilling multiple leadership roles including a Platoon Sergeant for Intelligence Support Battalion, Bravo Co. Receiving multiple commendations, Matthew was honorably discharged in 2014. He is a Husband, Father, avid hiker, and vastly involved with a non-profit organization in Nepal that carries hope to the children of the Himalayas.
