Neva Martinez

Neva has served as a financial specialist with the United States Department of Energy since 2006. Her expertise is in the areas of accounting, auditing, data analysis, and budget and financial execution. Born and raised in Denver, Neva earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. As an undergraduate, Neva was recruited by the Department of Energy to participate in the Student Career Experience Program. She worked as an accountant and audit liaison before accepting the position of financial specialist. In the community, Neva has been an active volunteer and board member for numerous education and mentoring organizations that impact Latinos and under-resourced communities. She currently lives in Thornton with her husband and two beautiful girls.
