Nicole Lovato

Nicole Lovato serves as the Work-Based Learning Manager in Denver Public Schools’ CareerConnect Program. In this role, Nicole leads college and career readiness experiential learning programs (CareerSpark, CareerX, & CareerCollaborate) and partnership recruitment. As the first woman in her family to earn a Bachelor’s degree and the first in her family to receive a Master’s degree, educational equity is Nicole’s passion. Her professional experience spans more than 20 years and includes banking, non-profit management, broadcast journalism, and education. Nicole’s leadership is fueled by a vision of life-changing opportunities for underserved youth who will ultimately increase graduation rates, close degree attainment gaps, and result in a more diverse workforce across industries. Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family.
