Teresa Barajas

Teresa is an Assistant Principal at Northglenn Middle School. She has worked in the field of education for over thirteen years. Prior to serving as an Assistant Principal at Northglenn Middle School, she was the Assistant Director for Intervention Services in Adams 12. Teresa is passionate about working with at-risk populations. Her entire career has been dedicated to developing systems to better support school communities with assisting students to reach their full potential. As an Assistant Director in Adams 12, Teresa collaborated with school administrators in addressing student behavior challenges such as attendance, truancy, suspensions, expulsions, drug, alcohol and mental health. She has also partnered with agencies such as Adams County, Broomfield County, Denver Public Schools and the City and County of Denver. Teresa currently resides in Thornton, Colorado with her husband and three children.
