Tonette Salazar

Tonette formed Salazar & Associates, an independent lobbying and political consulting firm that provides advocacy, legal research, election and campaign assistance, and information management in Colorado and nationally. Since 2000, she has worked on issues including construction defects, homeowners’ association and oil and gas issues, and has been a champion for K-12 education and higher education. Tonette’s strategic thinking and ability to collaborate with grassroots groups and public officials led to the passage of concurrent enrollment and in-state tuition for undocumented students in Colorado. Tonette’s ability to see the big picture enables her to create strategic plans for organizations seeking to increase their chances of success with state-level policy.
